It’s that time of year again….it’s time for our Summer Reading Scavenger Hunt. I hope you all will have fun with it.
I really look forward to seeing you on all your Reading Adventures this summer. Make sure you post your “Reading” pictures or videos on our Facebook page with a note with what’s going on. 1 Read with something blooming
2 Read with everyone in the picture wearing sunglasses
3 Read with a baby animal (puppy, kitten, chick, piglet, calf, etc.)
4 Read while baking cookies, brownies or a cake
5 Read with a sunset or sunrise
6 Read with a Texas Flag (or any flag)
7 Read while acting out a part from your favorite book (video please!)
8 Read while enjoying a picnic
9 Read a book with a TIGER on the cover
10 Read at a book store or a library
11 Read a page of a book in your favorite accent (Italian, New Yorker, Bostonian, British, Texan, etc.)
12 Read by water (think pool, bath, ocean, lake, river…but don’t get that book wet!)
13 Read with a street sign (think stop sign, yield sign, children at play sign, etc.)
14 Read while waiting in line somewhere, anywhere
15 Read at an event (think ball game, recital, play, party)
*BONUS* Find a Little Free Library – take a picture with the Little Free Library while reading a book from there (*hint there’s one at Frostwood by the bike rack) Mrs. Bothe left some extra books in there for you to enjoy.

All participants will receive a Summer Reading Scavenger Hunt Prize when they return in the fall.
